Outdoors

My girl loves and mean LOVES playing outside especially when she gets to play outside with her Daddy. It was so nice outside today that we all went out to play on the back deck.

Birthday Party

On Saturday we went to Jaycee's Birthday party, it was at the Jump Zone. This was Mike's first time to go and he totally gets it now why I was so pumped about this place. Fo did so much better this time, she loved playing in the bouncy Sesame Street house. Mike went in with her a couple of times, then she had no problem going in by herself.

She loved playing with the kiddy toys also. She carjacked this poor boy that kept wanting to play in the toy car, his name was Jasper and his momma was trying to get him to take turns with Fi, but neither kid was having it. After the kids played for an hour it was time to have pizza and open presents. Fi climbed right up on the bench between two boys and ate pizza with all the big kids! She so wanted to help jaycee open presents.

A new baby cousin.

Fiona now has a new baby cousin!!! My sister Ashley had her baby February 9, 2012.  Kendal Grace Key and she is a sweetheart! Here are some pictures of her.

Fiona loves baby kendal. It was so cute, I took Fi over to Ashley's to meet her. We decided to wait a couple of weeks for the girls (oh how I love saying that!!!) to meet, just because I knew Fi would be so excited and she wouldn't understand that she can't play with the baby yet. HeartStrings

Well talk about tugging at those heart strings… Last night my little monkey called me Mommy for the first time! (up until now I’ve been Momma) I know it means the same thing but the first time you hear your little one call you Mommy… oh there aren’t words to describe the sweet sound of her little voice saying Mommy.

She was such a Daddy’s girl last night, she didn’t even get upset when I left the room (which is what she usually does). But throughout the night she was totally a Mommy’s girl. I put her in bed with us after she woke up crying because she was wet and as she lay in between us she leaned over kissed Mike and then curled up next to me and held onto my finger as she went to sleep. TALK ABOUT THOSE HEART STRINGS!!!!

Bad Days

So we had to do the corner yesterday TWICE!! 1st time and it was not fun. 1st time was for throwing things (a wooden whistle and a book - a big one) at the Television. 2nd time was for hitting mommy in the head twice (1st was with that same heavy book and 2nd time was with her Fisher Price Laptop).

I put her in the spot (after telling her no! we don't Throw/Hit! the first time and after the second into the corner she went) and told her we don't throw things at the TV/Hit Mommy you stay in this spot for 1 min (I realize she is 18months) so Wait 1 min and if she stayed then after her 1 min I sat down with her explained why she was there, gave her hugs and kisses and we went back and started playing. If she didn't stay there then I put her back in that spot until her time was up and then did the explaining thing.

Yesterday was such a hard day, on Momma, Daddy and especially Fiona

Jump Zone

So the day after Christmas Fi and I met up with friends Chase & Jaycee, we went to the Jump Zone in Bentonville. Fi had a BLAST! It was crazy pandemonium there, I couldn't believe how insane it was, or how much Fi loved it. She is too little to go on most of the jumpers but there was one she can go on. I had to get in with her and help her a bit, but boy she loved it. They also had these great toys for little kids her age that she played with, although I couldn't get her into the car.

There was this big Jumper of Batman - which I think was a big slide, obviously too big for my baby girl, but she kept going up to it and pointing at it.

Mostly she loved running around watching all the kids and the activity.

Holidays - Christmas Afternoon

Well it was a really long and fun filled day, so I had to break up this post.

So after napping with Daddy we got ready and headed to Great Granny Pauline's and we opened still more presents. Mark & Kristen got her the best piano and let me tell you she loves this thing. We got Hannah and Landon superhero capes and masks - aren't they cute.

Christmas night we had Christmas at my parents, Ashley and Cass were there along with my brother Thomas. Ashley and Cass got Fi a Newborn Cabbage Patch Doll and my parents got her a stroller for her new baby. (Which Fi tries to get in all the time)
