Summer has gone by in a flash

Well summer is over and I can't believe it is done. From Branson to Tinkerbell Birthday Parties then swim lessons and trips to the water-park and everything in between we have been extremely busy. Mike started school in July - actually July 8th - Fi's birthday and he is now about to start his 3rd week of student teaching. I still can't believe how far we have come. Here are some various pictures of us from this summer.

Ok she is just adorable in her puddle jumper - our last trip to the water-park. Poppi, Ashley, Cass and Kendal joined us.

Birthday Party - Tinkerbell!!!

Well Fi's Birthday this year was a lot of hard work but I think it paid off well. She had a blast and her cake if I do say so myself turned out just as I had hoped. I got the idea of doing a cake in the shape of the number 3 from Pinterest (I love that site!!) but she wanted Tinkerbell so I decided to do the 3 but using a grass tip - which is no easy feat!!! - decorated the cake and added flowers. I love how it turned out!!!

 

All the girls got fairy wings and wands - Fi's were green because, well of Tinkerbell, the rest got rainbow with purple wands. Since we had a boy, that scalawag got a pirate hat, eye patch and sword - ARGH!!!

All in all - it was good and she had fun, that's what is most important. Thank you everyone for all the great gifts!!

Birthday day

So since Fi's actual birthday was on a monday, we had her party the weekend after - Will post pic from that later. On her birthday we took her to the Gentry Zoo, then had swimming lessons that night.

Look how big she is getting! She rode that camel all by herself!

Catching up part 2

At the end of June we went to Kendal's and played in the pool and sprinkler.

 Yes they wanted to play with Gigi's shoes - I guess the toys weren't fun enough!

Catching up - Not sure where the time went.

So I haven't posted since we got back from vacation. The last 2 months seem like they have just flown by. So after vacation we bought a new car and traded in mikes old car - he took my old one and I got the new one. Seriously love it, and so does Fiona.

 Then just a couple of days later we all went out for lunch for my birthday. Yes that is my child showing off her tummy in the restaurant.

Kendal was doing it too.

Please don't ask - she had too much fun stabbing her baby doll with her fork!
