Vacation - Rest

Monday afternoon we went to the Disney store, where Fi ran around like she couldn't hold back the excitement! We ended up getting her 1st Christmas present (no I'm not telling what it is), but Mike actually talked me into it! After that we went to an indoor waterpark at one of the hotels in Branson, HardRock - I think. Anyway - we easily could have stayed there the whole time, it was fun. Mike and I love the lazy river and it took us 2 or 3 tries to get Fiona to go on it, but once she figured she didn't have to go under the waterfalls and get soaked she loved it. I think we went around it easily 16 times. They also have a great toddler pool area with slides she could do, and we went into the larger pool also. I didn't think to get a water camera - so no pics - sorry.

So that morning Fi and her Daddy went Fishing. How cute is this!!!!

Mike had found her a rod and reel that is a Disney Princess one and it has a fish you cast out and reel back in. Nailed it babe!

 After Fishing for 5 mins or so, then the water play started!

Tuesday Mikes parents came up, we were going to go to the Zoo in Springfield, but because of the storms we couldn't. So we just stayed around the condo. Mike and his dad fished, Fi joined them a bit, but mostly we just had a lazy day. Wednesday it was back to SDC.

Happy Vacation.

Vacation - Start

So I have yet to understand why, WHY everytime we get ready to go somewhere or go on vacation someone (if not more than just that one) gets sick.
I took Fiona to the doctor Friday morning, because I didn't want to be trying to find a doctor while we were on vacation in Branson!

Well she had an inner ear infection, so we got meds and went on our way. He said we were good to go as long as she stayed warm and out of the wind when she went swimming. So we didn't swim at the resorts pools we went to an indoor waterpark. Which was so much BETTER!!! We stayed in a lakefront condo down the road from Silver Dollar City, it was really nice. We drove up Saturday.

Sunday Gigi & Poppy drove up and joined us, we all went to Silver Dollar City.

We all had a blast. That evening Mike and Fi played catch!!! (It was sooooo cute!!!!) and fed the geese. 

Mothers Day 2013

So Mothers Day was a busy day for us. After church we went to the mall - ate giant pieces of pizza, rode the cars/ice cream truck/4 wheelers. Then we went to the teddy bear store and built a bear! Her name is Daisy and Fi loved it! 

 She really liked the washing station, daisy had about 6 baths before we could get Fi out of the store.

 Afterwards we went to Ashley's house and played with Kendal for a bit. Kristi and her family showed up along with Thomas, Gigi & Poppy and DeeDee. Afterward we went home - that girl was exhausted!

Hair Cut

So Last week we had Fi's hair cut. I couldn't help but remember when she had her 1st one.

 When she was 13 months old!!
