Easter Pictures
Well they came in!! My girl looks beautiful in them - apparently the key is to have bunnies when we are taking pictures. She loved them so much, I think Mike and I will end up having to get some bunnies some day. Anyway here they are - I am only including a few as I don't have room to add all - but here is the link to the rest. This is the link.
Picture Day
So last Saturday we had a pretty full but fun day.
It started out with us having Fiona's Easter Pictures taken. I will include them in my next post. I had to curl her hair, let me tell you curling the hair of an active 2 yr old is NOT easy, plus her hair is just like mine - it won't hold a curl for anything. Well I ended up taking the curling iron with us so I could do something different with them. Here are some pictures I took of her on the way out the door.
Afterwards, we decided to eat lunch at McDonalds since Fi did so well during her pictures. Then on to Marks (Mikes cousin), since we hadn't given the kids their Christmas presents yet (they had to leave town before the bad weather hit, that ended up missing us. We have all been so busy we had not been able to drop the presents off before then). Fi had such a great time running around with Hannah and Landon, so then on to home and a relaxing evening. Well as relaxing as it can be with a 2 year old!

Teddy
I just had to post this. In the mornings before going to Nanny & Papa's for the day, Fiona will pick out a couple of toys she wants to take with her. This morning it was her giant bear. It was just so cute I had to post about it. It was cold, so Teddy had to sit with Fi and he needed a blanket too. She asked for a hat for him, but unfortunately mommy doesn't have a hat that will fit Teddy.
He is almost as big as she is.
Potty Training Time
Oh how I wish I didn't have to do this! I know everyone had told me how they didn't like this stage and now I get why! Saturday the 16th we started potty training. When she woke up that morning I told her how the "diaper fairy" came and took all her diapers to a baby who still needed them and she left Fi big girl panties and sleeping panties. She was all excited for the 1st little bit, then I think she was over the training part - well me too... After I let changed her out of her last wet diaper into panties we went. And here are some pics I took of her cute little tooshie when she was just walking around in them.
It didn't take me long to figure out that when she was just wearing them, that she really couldn't tell she was wet, so I started making her wear pants, and this has made a lot of laundry!!! Sunday she actually made it to the potty several times, and she is getting better each day. Poor mike though he had to help her when she had a poopy nighttime accident when I was in the shower. I think he didn't realize how bad of a mess that can be, silly silly man. But so here we are 2 1/2 weeks later and she is doing really well. We started giving her stickers each time she makes it to the potty, and once her paper is filled up with the stickers then she gets a prize.

She got a pack of stickers (one of her favorite things). This is what she did with all those stickers.
She is doing really well on the potty training, we are down to about 1 accident a day average. A couple of days she had no accidents, she is getting to be such a big girl.
