Sorry its been so long since I posted last. January was by far the busiest month we've had in a long time. Started out with sickness, Over the holiday's Fiona got a bacterial infection and poor baby was just so sick. We took her to the walk-in clinic on the 1st because everyone else was closed, tell you what walking into a medical clinic where everyone has a mask on isn't the most pleasant of sites. Well we got her in and I really should have seen the doctor at the same time but I didn't think I was that sick, maybe just a cold. She got antibiotics and cough meds, she was not a happy camper but came out of it all pretty well off. Me ugh, I ended up leaving work the next day after only an hour or so, went to doctor and had a severe sinus infection. So the next day I came down with that horrible stomach bug that hit my entire family! Oh I was miserable and pretty pitiful.
So the next week I had to head to Atlanta for work, we left on Tuesday morning and came home on Saturday. Oh how my girl missed her mommy, I talked to her and her daddy every night - the 1st couple of nights it was more than once and a few mornings too. But Mike and Fi made it just fine, a bit messier of house and daughter, but fine all around. I got her a round stuffed elephant at the airport, funny I wasn't sure what it was - I kinda thought it was a mouse, but a really cute kid in the shop said he liked the elephant more than the penguin I was looking at.
