Graduation

Well it finally came! Mike has graduated with his Bachelors Degree. We are so so very proud of him. It is so incredibly hard to go back to school when you are older, not to mention to be working and having a child while you are doing it. But he did it wonderfully. He maintained a 4.0 G.P.A and was on the Dean's & Chancellor's lists each and every semester. Graduation was on Saturday December 15th and we went out to dinner that evening with a large group of our family.
I'm thinking when he has the next big graduation (when he gets his Masters and teaching certificate) we are going to do a big ol' lake party and have everyone come.
So very proud of him!!!

Christmas Pictures

Yeah!! They finally came in, we did our session the 1st of December and just got the pictures back. Here is some of the ones I like the best.

Morning Funs

I just had to put the pictures up. As you can tell the weather is getting colder, especially in the mornings - so we now have to bundle up more. Fiona really isn't happy about that but, she sure is cute!

That bottom picture was her going Hallllooo! Oh I don't want her to grow any older, this age is too much fun!!!

Big

I had to post this, My girl is getting so darn BIG! Sunday after church we went to Sabarro's for lunch then we let her play on some of the cars. Then on to get shoes for Mike. But oh I just had to show these pictures, I swear she is growing up way too fast. That pizza slice was bigger than her head!!!

Shopping

Saturday morning I got my first shopping trip sans child in a very long time. It was so wonderful to be able to actually run into a store and not have to mess with getting them out of the car-seat, making sure both shoes are on, have extra diapers and pants incase of accidents oh and the inevitable toy/stuffed animal that must come in with you. Mike kept Fi for me so I could run a few errands and pick up some Christmas items and do a little grocery shopping. I of course got the text from him... "Look at what your daughter is doing"

Ok now HA! instead of the house falling down around them while I am gone it fell on her!

I stopped by the cookie place and grabbed us all a little treat. Fi got a Santa cookie, She pretty much just licked all the icing off of it.

She had to show Santa her Santa cookie.

After the cookie, we just decided to have a little fun with the reverse camera option on my phone.

She loves to see the pictures after we took them.
I Love this picture - We just have fun.
Here she is showing her Rudolph the Reindeer Ornament that sings (LOUDLY)

Decorating the Tree

Friday my mom, Ashley, Kendal and Fiona were decorating the Christmas tree together when I got home from work. With only a few broken ornaments - none of which were eaten, I think they did pretty good.
So Ashley and Kendal stayed for dinner, Dad made everybody pankcakes. When they were done I had to give Fi a bath and she begged for baby Kenden (as she says) to join.

Aren't they just adorable!!!

Santa is coming to town

So we took Fiona to see Santa the day before Thanksgiving. I was kinda worried about if she was going to be afraid or not, especially after last years picture. But no worries, my girl loved Santa! I really do mean loved, she has been begging to see him again since we went. Here is her picture with him. I gave her a wallet sized picture of it and she loved having it. She has of course since then lost it and wants another one. We let her ride the trucks and ice cream truck after seeing Santa, it was pretty darn cute. The entire time she was riding them she would yell Thank you Santa!

Saturday we decided to put up her tree, I made this felt tree with ornaments and presents for her to play with. Thinking she would like to decorate and re-decorate it.

This is just for fun, this is my girlie girl all dressed up and ready to play.

Look at the Lights!

Saturday night we went to see the lights on the square in Fayetteville. Fi loved it! She got to ride the ponies, see Santa and his reigndeer and we bought her this mulit-colored light up light saber sticky thing that she really had fun wacking people - especially her daddy with.
