Pumpkin Patch take 2

 Yesterday we took Fiona to the pumpkin patch again. This time Mike took off work so he could go with us and his parents went also. It was really cold that morning but by the time we got to the pumpkin patch it had warmed up to be just right. We had a slight accident on the way to the patch. Fi was drinking water and it spilled - soaking her and her car seat - seriously the seat had standing water in it! Since we were almost to the patch so we had to backtrack to a consignment store that Chase has been telling me about but I just haven't made it there yet. I ran in and had to buy her some new jeans to change her into, it was just too cold to be in wet clothes. We finally made it and I am really glad we took her, she had so much fun.
Fi and daddy got to feed the goats. Fi was giggling at how their tongues felt.

We got to talk to the donkeys (hee haw!)

Fi loved loved loved the corn maze, I think we went around the mini maze at least 4 times, but it is kinda hard to tell because it all looked the same to us. Fi knew just the way to go when we were inside the maze.

And the pony rides, she loved ridding the pony. Then we went to watch the pig races.

Fi and Nanny played on the hale bales, Karen and Fi were both going to go thru the tube but after Karen was about half way through Fi wouldn't go.

She wanted to play on the hale bales and made Papa and Daddy get up with her on the top.

At the end of the day she got her popcorn

Princess Fiona

So last night I found this dress that I had been holding on to (apparently), it came with a Belle Doll my friend Wendi had gotten Fi for Christmas either last year or the year before- I can't remember now. Anywho I got it out and we played dress up. Fi loved it the minute I put her in it. She immedialty wanted to see herself in the mirror, then she had to show off her dress with her crown on.
It was bath time so I let her get dressed up after her bath again, see isn't she just the cutest!

Pumpkin Patch

So today we went to the pumpkin patch, we went with Ashley, Cass, Kendal & Gigi. Ashley tried to get some pictures of the girls but there was just too much going on for us to really get any good shots. So I dug my camera out (not like I had it at the ready) and just started taking pictures of my girl. I am really proud of myself - I actually got some good shots! 

Did I mention it was really windy?

After Ashley and her gang and Gigi left, fi and I went on a hay ride.

We fed the cows tortilla shells. Fi loved them until they got their noses right up over the edge of the wagon.

The farmer had to let the chickens out of the coop since we were the first hay ride of the day.

All of the kids were very concerned that one of the chickens got out of the pen

After the hayride, and petting the baby animals we had a picnic.

Overall we had a blast. We are going back next weekend with her Daddy.

Cooking with Gigi

Gigi and Fi made chocolate chip cookies this weekend - and they were really good! This is one of my favorite memories from when I was a kid, cooking with my mom.

When done with making cookies, Fi and momma finger painted. Well ok - so I got her finger paints but she didn't like it when the paint got on her hands!!! She would stick her hand out and say "Momma paint mess!" It was so cute, I was so glade I decided to buy pain brushes as well.
