Wedding weekend!

Well did you know that Fiona was going to be a flower girl? Yep she was, and she was just so stinkin cute!. This weekend was just so much fun. Meredith & Cody were married on Saturday June 16th at the Fordyce Ricks Estate in Hot Springs Arkansas, the wedding was beautiful almost as beautiful as Meredith was.

We went up to Hot Springs saturday for the rehearsal and man was it HOT!!! ugh I just felt like I had taken a sticky shower by the end of the evening. Poor Fi got so hot playing and exploring the grounds that we just ended up stripping her down to the diaper and letting her run around the hotel room the rest of the evening.

 

Saturday morning we got up and after breakfast we went to the pool. Fi loves the pool - she didn't want to leave. Well after we went back to the room and changed we went out on the town - ok so we went out on the downtown, but that doesn't sound the same. Anywho we did alittle window shopping and stopping in at the popcorn place Fi got a juice that she would not let go of, that girl was sipping on that juice all afternoon. Well anyway so we headed back and after stopping in at Poboys (as apparently that is a hangout for Luther from Coach - Jerry VanDyke - LOVE HIM!!!) and no Luther there, we went on to the pancake place next door. mmmmm that place is good! Fi ate almost and entire Hamsteak by herself - No Seriously! that girl loves her some ham. All I heard this weekend besides, Ashley, Alli & Baby was Ham Ham Ham.

So after going back to the room for a nap and some rest we had to get dressed up for pictures. Well that so didn't work out at all. I will be so surprised if the poor photographers got any pictures of fi. So here are mine ( I forgot my camera this weekend if you can believe it! I was kicking myself all weekend too! - So all my pics are from my phone)

Well we finally made it to the wedding - with just 2 minutes to spare! Sorry for the lateness.  Here are the pics I snapped after the wedding.

My girl loves to dance!!! it is so cute. I have a video I shot on my phone of her dancing and then her first dance with poppy! I will upload it tonight and post it on here. 

Well we made it home without any major incidents and man how is it that I have laundry to do again when I just did it right before we left! Ahh well. It was a good weekend and a wonderfully beautiful wedding. Congratulations Meredith & Cody we are so happy for you two!

Horrified

So last night when we were picking up dinner, we went through the Arby's drive-thru and as we were leaving, Fi shouts to the guy at the window... Bye LaLu (Love You). Poor mike you should have seen his face, he looks back and says, NO! no you don't LaLu, NO!

I couldn't stop laughing - it was really cute hearing her say that but Mike's face was priceless.

Big Girl Bed

Well she now has a big girl bed, using it? well that's going to be the interesting part. Mike put it together while we were on vacation. We did a whole Minnie Mouse theme, and oh she loves it!!! I am so happy she does, right now she plays night night in it but hopefully she will be going night night in it for real, soon.

We got her some of those wall decal stickers that she and Daddy put up.

We've tried several times to get her to stay in it, but she keeps rolling out of it in the middle of the night. Ahh well we will get there eventually.

Vacation - Part 2

Well after she started feeling better, Mike and I took her to Chuck E Cheese - to see how it went also so hopefully she wouldn't freak out at her Birthday Party - Which is just a month and a week away!!!!!!

Well she had so much fun, I don't know why we were worried.
