Carrying Things

Don't ask me why but my sweet girl just has to be carrying something in her hands when she does almost anything. If she doesn't have something in her hand when we head downstairs she will either make sure she has something to take back upstairs (usually a remote if she can get her hands on one) or she will go look for something before we go down.

The Things We Do

Has it really only been 2 1/2 weeks that my sweet fi has been walking? Yes it has!

She has gone from the start and stop walking, to falling every time she stops, to going going gone!

It is just so cute and funny to watch her, she is so much more sure of herself now. She hardly ever needs to hold onto our hands to walk around. She has this dog that we call pepper (its tail looks like a Jalapeno pepper) and she pulls it along with her, it is so cute. Still trying to get a video of her pulling pepper.

So if you have been paying attention to any of my pictures you will have noticed that I have several of my sweet girl standing or sitting behind the steering wheel of my car. This has been a morning thing for a while now. When I take her out to the car in the mornings to go to Nana & Papa's for the day I usually sit her down in the drivers seat so I can put my bags down. She loves it! She will get up behind the wheel and try to turn it, she is currently trying to get all the buttons to do stuff. Here is one of her morning driving pics (notice the bed head)

And one of her current favorite things to do right now is to take her clothes out of a cubby or a drawer and move them onto the coffee table and then take them back to the bedroom and put them on the rocking chair and back again.

WALKING!!!!

Up until yesterday (August 31st) Fiona has just been taking steps, in the last week and a half the steps have been getting farther and farther. She took about 8 on Sunday across the kitchen without realizing what she had done. But last night she really took off. I was so excited and proud I could hardly contain myself. I didn't get any pictures - but of course I will - but I did get a short video. Unfortunately my camera died (I forgot to charge it) after just a couple of minutes. So this is all I have for now. Don't worry the camera is on charge and will be ready to go for now on.

Singing and Dancing

This is a girl who loves music. Anytime she hears a song on the TV, one of her toys or computer she is ready to dance, clap and sing. Here are some videos of her doing just that.
