Easter Day

So I guess with being sick and everything I forgot to post about Easter Day. Well we got all dressed up in our Easter dress (and by we I mean Fiona) and had lunch with almost all of my family (my aunt Terri's family wasn't there) at my grandmother Donna's house.

Here are several pictures that I took.

Fiona playing with the stuff in her very first Easter Basket

Laughing at Aunt Ashley

Two very pretty girls (Fiona and Grace)

Got Joels cell phone

Obviously I didn't take this one, Momma, Daddy & Fiona

Since it rained so much Grace and Joel had to do their egg hunt in the house.

Grace had a time keeping the eggs out of Fi's hands. She has just and I mean she started it Easter Day, started this army type crawl. Very cute, and boy since then she is getting fast!Getting ready to leave, Fiona in her raincoat

Fall

Boy let me tell you, Tuesday night was a hard one. I didn't have one baby I had to soothe but TWO!!!

Mike was watching Fi while I was getting everything ready to put her down for the night. He had her sitting on the couch with him playing with some toys - now we do this all the time. She took off her sock and threw it off the couch and then dove after it. Mike wasn't able to grab her in time, she hit her forehead on the coffee table.

And the crying hysterically commenced. It took me awhile to get Fi calmed down and poor Mike he was so upset, he was worried she had really hurt herself. I made him go into the other room to calm down while I got Fi calmed. She just had a bump and a slight bruise.

Longest week EVER!!

Ok so I am not one to complain, but last week had be the longest one ever. Both Fiona and I have been sick. It started out with sore throats and went inCheck Spellingto head colds from there. I was getting worried that Fi was getting an ear infection so Monday morning I took her to the doctor, and just a word to the wise if the nurse ever tells you a doctor is very thorough it means they typically run late. Well she didn't have any infection, hers ears were good and clear!!! Hip Hip Hurray!
She - Doctor Harvey Fi's regular pediatrician was out on vacation - said that ear infections can come up after having colds really easily and if I keep her nose draining and keep a humidifier going it should help her not to get one.
Fiona is finally starting to feel better - me however not so. Apparently if you don't get sleep you don't get better as fast. Oh well, at least Fi is doing better I should be following soon.
